Eye test

 Today I went to a eye test , and it got me thinking , I can't see a thing without my glasses in fact without it I’m totally blind , my glasses come off and if don't see a thing , put my specs on and Walla i see it all .

Now thinking that that’s true in life as well we pass by opportunities as we don’t see it as we are too engrossed in other aspects .

Look at my love life for example my wife is religious, I grew up religious but today i'm the opposite , I eat non kosher and don't keep Shabbat but I have compromises with my wife, now to think if I would have not seen that option of compromise and said to myself I'm not going out with a religious girl I would still be single today......

Sometimes though we can be blind also by our career , Just today I met a man lets call him Lenny, its a alias but Lenny was a top singer , people came from all over to hear him sing , he flew around the world for his craft and was widely revered , yet in his height of power he committed a theft thinking his fame would keep him safe and was put in Jail , today he's hardly known ,

I was in the height of my career and if I would have stayed in Israel I might have become very famous and might have received a boost of confidence and outlook but I realised my wife and myself needs the stability of UK so I put back a bit and its the best decision I could have done, I love Israel with all my heart and as I told my friends MK's and Ministers in Israel my home is a Mini Israeli embassy in my eyes , but sometimes one has to see through a different pair of glasses which is not yours to be able to see another view another side one did not see before

So don’t be ashamed to ask, advice .

Just today I got an email from someone who read this blog asking me to do a feature piece , I'm a news Journalist but I sent her in the right direction as there is no shame to ask and if you ask the wrong thing there’s always someone who knows the right thing .

short Update

Reflection of a year to Blog

It has been just over a year since I started publishing my blog. I started writing a blog on the advice of Hillel Fuld in order to enhance my career and get more people informed about what I do. Unfortunately, as of yet, that hasn't happened, Hillel doesn't get everything right. But in a way, the blog has become a sanctuary for me to talk about my achievements, air my grievances, and let myself feel better in life. I think through the blog I have found clarity in myself on different aspects of my life, I have learned things about myself and what is necessary for me to change and I have learned skills I have that I never thought I needed or could utilise.  In sales, one must believe in the product to sell it. My country is at war

I had written my blog for August and September, they were going to go up very soon but I can't put up trivial things when my country is at war, when my people and friends have been kidnapped and murdered by terrorists calling themselves freedom fighters for Palestine.  Make no mistake Hamas is not Palestine and does not represent any faction of Palestine, they are a terrorist group that cause harm to the Palestinian cause. Any person that harms civilians for their own benefit is evil. Hamas, besides the atrocities they committed last week, use civilians as bait , not allowing them to get to safety and making sure their terrorist headquarters are in vulnerable areas such as childrens' schools and UN hospitals.  As a Zionist Israeli and a left wing activist, the horror on both sides is intense, I lost friends and colleagues; innocent people, civilians who wanted to live.
