Be a Hero to others

When I was a young kid, we were told that the ozone layer has a hole in it due to the effect of harmful chemicals being released into the atmosphere.

Several years later it became extremely hot in Manchester, so I wrote to then Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, as I was worried that people were using the wrong chemicals and damaging the ozone layer more.

I received a letter back thanking me for bringing this to his attention and telling me that it has been sent to be dealt with.

A few days, later I received a letter from UK's Chief Scientist thanking me and explaining the science of how the world revolves around the sun so that the ozone hole returns to the same position every few years and that lead to the hot weather.

As a kid, it gave me a great thrill that the Prime Minister and Chief Scientist took me seriously.

Around the same time, I also received a letter from the Queen.

The Queen answered that she was sorry but she wasn't in residence, so it wouldn't be possible, but if another chance came up…

As a kid, getting those letters from people with authority gave me a thrill, knowing that even as a kid, my opinion mattered.

It's a marketing tool that works. I will always regard Gordon Brown as a Prime Minister with authority and the Queen as a dominant and successful person because they took their time for a little kid.

For me as an adult, it taught me that by making an effort for your fans and for the younger generation, we can influence the future for someone else.

Many of those who have won challenges on Mr Beast's YouTube channel have opened their own channels and have become successful, as they see they can be just like their hero, Mr Beast.

It's on us to be a model for the talents of the future by being there for them when they turn to us for advice or assistance.

When Ori Yizchaki, a successful boy with autism dreamt of becoming a journalist, I could have said "I'm the first journalist with autism in Israel! I'm not letting him succeed on my turf!" But no, I helped him get interviews with celebrities and helped him succeed, working together for a better future for everyone.

The lesson we learn is help everyone no matter who ...
