Murphys law

 I had been running errands all day and just got home to lay down on the couch to rest when my phone rang. It was one of my fellow students, "Josh we have been given revision. We need to do this and that to improve our grades for our coursework."

Dum dum dum… Murphy's Law… Why am I not surprised!

Murphy's Law always hits us when we least expect it and least need it.

I had a friend who wrote a script for our class which I wish could have been made into a movie, as I love comedies. Someone was so angry at Murphy that he went to try to kill Murphy. All the way he hit Murphy's Law snags and when he finally got to Murphy, he discovered that Murphy had just died!

But life is life and when one has to do something although it is difficult, you must push forward through that glass, that wall that is standing in your path.

It is true that at this point all I want to do is sleep but if I push through and I am able to finish my coursework, write that article for the website that wants an article from me, do an assessment for a job interview, then I will succeed.

But if I sit back and relax and say, "I'll do it tomorrow", then something else may happen and then it will never get done. So push yourself.

But while it is important to push yourself, don't push yourself too hard. Pace yourself, know yourself and if it's too much, relax a little and then carry on.

Here I must thank someone who pushes on, the last few blogs have been edited by a good friend of mine Rachael Risby Raz. Rachael has been through ups and downs over the years, but she's always cheerful and motivated and with her Australian-British cheer, she makes all those around her happy and comfortable. And she is epitome of the saying, 'Just let life go on.'
