crisis management
As I was feeling ill with my stomach issues, I lay down in bed and closed my eyes to rest. Less then 5 minutes later, my phone rang and I was woken up.
Yep, it might have been just a catnap but that's also life! Sometimes we are relaxing and then calamity hits. In markerting, it's called crisis management.
We must learn how to control the issue so it doesn't spiral out of control.
One way to do this straight after the incident, to offer an explanation and own up to any mistakes.
Personally, I've done a lot I'm not proud of: my anger for example is pretty hard to take and when I get really really angry, I pity anyone in my path. But I've worked on these issues and I know that when I get angry, I need to go to the side and breath and focus on something else until I am no longer looking for items to throw!
The idea is to know that yes, things may go wrong and yes, it's ok for things to go wrong and to know when we plan ahead for things and they go wrong, we can get back on schedule if we had that buffer installed.
This applies to all apects; if you need to leave at 11 am to be somewhere by 12:30 pm, leave once you're ready to leave, even if it isn't yet 11am , as you may hit traffic. It is better to arrive 30 minutes early than then coming 30 minutes late. And if there is traffic or the wife or husband is still dressing, at least in the end you will arrive on time giving a good impression.
Now I'm going to try get back to sleep and rest my stomach up.
Any UK gastros around hit me up if you can see me before NHS finally gets me an appointment!
