2 people

It's been a crazy few days with the Jewish holiday of Succot and plenty of coursework that I need to do, the amount of things and issues in my head is overwhelming!
I went to town today for a bit of shopping and saw the Chabad succah in town so took inititive and photographed it and sent it straight to the news desk.
I had a job interview today as well, so I hope things will go well and I'll get a position.
My life is a bit topsy-turvey at the moment and it's you, my followers, who suffer, so I apologise!
Life is like a rollercoaster and at this moment, I'm on the crazy part of it.
Just a few weeks ago, it was the anniversary of the passing of my Opa, my grandfather from Amsterdam. He passed away at age 100. I was very close to him and travelled often to Amsterdam to visit him.
He used to drink often and always drank two shots after another.
I once asked him why two shots. He said, "I drink one shot and I feel like another person... another person is also allowed to drink."
In some way working hard is feeling like two different people too: the person before, embittered by all the hard work, and then the person who has a sense of satisfication that he was able to achieve something. You often can't have one without the other.
