choices

Today Manchester United plays West Ham at Old Trafford. But today is also the first day of studying for my last semester at university, so I made the decision to go to Old Trafford!
Only kidding, I'm at home studying on zoom. Yes my TV will be on in the background, but studying at university is advancing my career, which is way more important in the long run.
Sometimes in life one must make choices which will affect your life in future and not what affects your life now.
Choices are an interesting thing. If we didn't have choices, life would be boring, but having choices also means we can easily make mistakes.
It's ok to make mistakes, as long as we own up to the mistakes we make. I've made some terrible mistakes and terrible choices in life, but it's ok, as I learnt from them not to make the same mistakes again.
Yesterday I met and spoke to Mr. Philip Goldberg, Chairman of Kisharon in London and when he spoke to me he said, "You don't act autistic." I explained that in the past, I was very withdrawn, I was an avid bookworm and very uncomunicative. I even had some epic meltdowns and tantrum attacks that was so bad I was throwing tables and chairs. But that was a mistake, I learnt to control myself, I learnt that I had to be communicative and learng how to control my meltdowns.
I made choices about what I had to do in order to succeed in life.
