love what you do

When you love what you do, you are more capable of succeeding. Life is loving what you do, even if you don't earn enough from what you do. It's no secret that I earn pennies from journalism, but the fact that I love my job and work, means more to me then anything else.
When I was young, I was once punished and sent upstairs while my family was having a special supper of chips and sausages  I was inconsolable and was crying and crying. My mother felt sorry for me and allowed me to sit with the family, but I wasn't allowed to eat the special meal. They didn't know that I wasn't crying because I couldn't sit with my family, my disappointment was that I wasn't able to eat my favourite meal. So it made it worse that I was sitting with my family, looking at them enjoying the delicacies of my youth and knowing that I wasn't able to eat.
If you love what you do, your passion creates Opportunities that give you satisfacation, even if you don't earn enough. Two weeks ago, because of my job, I was in Malta. Flights and hotels paid for. Next month, I will be in Germany, flights and hotels included.
I get to be with the top people from all echelons of life and meet people that others only dream of meeting.
Yes, financially, I have it hard but in my heart, I couldn't be happier. Life is not about money, it is about being happy with what you do.
