seek discomfort
Life is never easy, but you succeed by looking for the discomfort. That is what I said to a professer at Givat Washington University today. I give a lecture every year in her course and she heard today why I moved back to the UK when she contacted me regarding something to do with her course, which I can't divulge, but is something very big for me.
I very much live by this method, it is something that is important and shows great character spirit.
It's been a tough day of writing articles and a big paper that is due by end of the week.
I also have been watching the World Cup and am so excited by the chance that England will play France in the quarter finals after beating Senegal 3-0 yesterday. I wrote to a French PR guy I know, Dudu Avitan, that #itscominghome, to which he replied that he believes France will win 2-0!
I told him we will see, if we win against France, it means I'll be watching the semi final at Heathrow Airport, and watching the finals, if we advance to there, in Israel.
I must get something clear. People have been asking why I write that I can't post on days when I don't post a blog. My answer is I made a commitment to write daily and this blog is for me is a way to seek discomfort for me to break my own barriers so for me I write everyday and if I miss a day I write in the blog why, so I can reflect and push myself the following day.
I'll keep on pushing until I succeed and when I succeed and the world knows me, I'll keep on pushing till the world's attitude changes and we have an equal and accessible world for all.
