Last week was an incredible week!
It started on Sunday when I went to London to Wembley Stadium to watch the EFL cup final Manchester United vs Newcastle.
It was my very first time ever in Wembley and I was really on a high as I entered the famous stadium. There was a scarf waiting on every seat, so that was cool to get a free, limited edition scarf.
Manchester United won 2-0 and for the first time ever in person I saw my team pick up a cup, which was emotional and moving.
Afterwords, I waited for ages to get to the Underground. Eventually made my way to Ealing, where I was supposed to be staying. I stopped off at KFC to grab a bite to eat, ordered via the app as I had a reward offer, only to discover that I was in the wrong branch, so had to take bus to the other branch to collect. I got there and there nowhere to sit, so they bagged it and I left to my hotel.
Arrived at the hotel only to discover, typical me, I haf booked for the 26th of March instead of February.
It took time to find a new hotel and I made my way towards Kensington to the new hotel. Obviously, the food was not edible after all this time, so had no choice but to chuck it.
I got to my new hotel, Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel and although with my booking I was entitled to a free beverage, the bar was already shut, so I went up to my room, watched some videos and went to sleep. Very comfortable bedroom, great comfortable bed. The only down side was that it was kind of dark on the 7th floor where I was, with no proper lighting and that there is no plug socket by the bedside table to plug in your phone.
The following day, I went down to breakfast, great food and very tasty.
Travelled to Euston and took the train back to Manchester.
Got home and rested and on Tuesday did some coursework.
On Wednesday, I went to see United play West Ham in FA Cup. We came back from 1-0 to win 3-1, bringing us to the quarter finals, which we play vs Israeli player Manor Salmon's Fulham.
On Thursday and Friday, a tiredness hit me. I was exhausted.
On Friday night, we went to see our friends who just had a new baby girl. They told me I had been slacking off and that they follow my blog daily and miss it.
Rachel and Ahron, you are correct, sorry for slacking.
Then we ate at friends of Esther's for Friday night and on Shabbat, we had Kidishim and ate at another of Esther's friends.
On Sunday, I woke up with a cold and for the past two days, I"ve been lying in bed, sneezing and feeling weak.
Tommorow is Purim, so hope I get better in time to celebrate.
