My Sleepless flight

In my last blog, I told you I was at the airport for my trip home. I boarded the Virgin Atlantic flight and sat in my seat. The purser came up to me, as I'm a frequent flyer on Virgin, and introduced herself, apologizing she didn’t have space for a complimentary upgrade but offered me a bulkhead seat with extra leg room. I jumped at the opportunity and immediately after take-off she returned and led me to that seat. I sat in the empty row and started watching a movie. Very shortly afterwards, a woman with a child came along, looked at me and called a stewardess. It turns out that her daughter was supposed to sit in the seat next to me while she was in Business Class. She yelled at the stewardesses for moving me, claiming as that the kid is only 13 they promised her the row to herself. The stewardess said this was not possible. The woman looked at me with an evil eye and said "I don't want him sitting next to her", as if I was a sex offender. The head steward told her that she didn’t have a choice, at which point she turned to her daughter and said "Don't talk to him." Now if she would have said "Don't talk to anyone", I wouldn’t have minded. I understand safeguarding. But to say "Don't talk to him", makes me sound like a criminal. This made me upset, and I cannot sleep when I am upset. Eventually, after a good meal and a few movies, we landed in London, and I made my way back to Manchester.
A week later I was off to Israel for a friend's book launch, which was very successful. It was so good to see how happy my friend was with his new book .
I flew back home and had a few meetings online.
I also had a MRI on my stomach, and hopefully soon we'll have the results to work out what's with my stomach.
I was interviewed for a podcast in the USA and started my final coursework for university.
That ends June..
