choices

Today Manchester United plays West Ham at Old Trafford. But today is also the first day of studying for my last semester at university, so I made the decision to go to Old Trafford! Only kidding, I'm at home studying on zoom. Yes my TV will be on in the background, but studying at university is advancing my career, which is way more important in the long run. Sometimes in life one must make choices which will affect your life in future and not what affects your life now. Choices are an interesting thing. If we didn't have choices, life would be boring, but having choices also means we can easily make mistakes. It's ok to make mistakes, as long as we own up to the mistakes we make. I've made some terrible mistakes and terrible choices in life, but it's ok, as I learnt from them not to make the same mistakes again. Yesterday I met and spoke to Mr. Philip Goldberg, Chairman of Kisharon in London and when he spoke to me he said, "You don't act autistic....

Dreams

Today I got a call from DVLA who informed told me that after my health check, I have been given permission to continue driving. I am so relieved! I was scared that I would be denied. I rebooked my theory test for middle of November and hope by then I'll pass and then I can book my practical test and hopefully soon get my license. For me, having a license will be a dream. It shows that dreams can come true, if you push for it. We all have our dreams and aspirations but it's pushing forward that makes our dreams come true. Life is all flexible, we can meet the biggest and wealthiest person, but if you don't show up and give an elevator speech, you won't get anywhere. I want to bring an example of a friend of mine, Nuseir Yasin, otherwise known as Nas Daily. Nas went to Harverd, graduated and started working for PayPal, making big bucks. But then he was unhappy, he quit it all, started traveling and making one minute videos. He became very sucessful and well known, but he ...

Help = Joy

I started today with some work, then someone came to the house to see if she can help Esther learn basic skills such as a safe cooking, then dealt with trolls on facebook hating me for not supporting their political party, then recieved a phone call asking me who I'm voting for and weirdly enough, the guy asking didn't know who Meretz was... which is weird. Yesterday, I brought a new vape, going into refillable liquid instead of throw away pods. I spoke today to MK Gilad Kariv to thank him, as he was the one who encouraged me to go to and study and I felt the need to tell him I was going in my last semester before completing my degree. One must always thank people and be grateful as that causes that in the future they will help again. “When you give joy to other people, you get more joy in return. You should give a good thought to happiness that you can give out.”— Eleanor Roosevelt. By being grateful and helping one another, you get joy, and helping yourself gives you joy. I o...

My Week

I'm very weak and tired. I feel as if a bus hit me at 1000 km/hr. I'm resting but still have not got enough strength. Last night I went out to my favourite place, Celia's, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. However tired and weak you may be, if you miss an anniversary, you're weaker. There was good food at Celia's. I started off with chicken soup with matza balls and Esther had duck spring rolls. Then I had salted beef with latkes and Esther had steak and chips. We finished off with a chocolate monty which is brownies and fudge on a biscuit with mousse we also ordered apple crumble. Delicious!  For an anniversary present, I took a photo from our wedding that we both love standing outside Manchester United's stadium on our wedding night and got it enlarged and framed. This week our electrician turned up to fix the hob and I asked him how his football team, Bolton, is going. Oops! He was actually an Oldham fan... I got mixed up with tiredness and also because I...
